A total of 2,282 out of 4,240 test-takers passed the written phase of the Marine Deck Officers Licensure Examination for the various ranks given by the Board for Marine Deck Officers on November 8 and 9, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Thursday.
The PRC also said that 473 examinees have been exempted from taking the practical examinations as they opted to submit a Certificate of Training and Certificate of Assessment in the Ship Simulator and Bridge Teamwork.
