The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced yesterday that 225 out of 637 passed the Veterinarian Licensure Examination given by the Board of Veterinary Medicine in the cities of Manila, Baguio, and Cagayan de Oro this month.

The Top 10 examinees are:


1. Dennis Villaseñor Umali, University of the Philippines-Los Baños, 85.25 percent 2. Melanie Masangkay Pelayo, Aklan State University-Banga, 83.75
3. Darlene Fe Perez Castro, University of the Philippines-Los Baños, 83.38
4. Dominic Terre Tucay, Tarlac College of Agriculture, 83.25
5. Remil Linggatong Galay, University of the Philippines-Los Baños, 83;
6. Roy Alessandro Nito Sagpao, Cavite State University, 82.25
7. Percy Flores Modomo, University of the Philippines-Los Baños, 82
8. Racky Wagan Velasquez, University of the Philippines-Los Baños, 81.88
9. Melbourne Rio Talactac, University of the Philippines-Los Baños, 81.13

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Monday, Aug. 13, but not later than Aug. 31.

The oathtaking ceremony of the examinees will be held before the Board on Friday, Sept. 7, 1 p.m., at the Kalayaan Hall, Club Filipino, Eisenhower St., Greenhills, San Juan City.
Registration for membership with the Philippine Veterinary Medical Association (PVMA) will also start on Aug. 13.
